Distance: 4.5 miles
The caning on one of Ciwt's chairs ripped through so she had to take it to be repaired. She picked it up this way, then that way, thought about how to get it into her car, and finally realized why so many people around the world carry things above their heads. It was by far the easiest solution, so she walked her busted chair down the street for a mile or so and enjoyed at all the funny comments and looks she got. A nice, silly and highly recommended break from a luncheon about d-e-a-t-h and a book discussion about same.
