It seems to Ciwt when she reads or hears about the Mexican cartels on stations like the PBS Newshour, 'the situation' is presented as something she can wrap her mind around and even start evaluating possible solutions. That is until this afternoon when she saw Cartel Land, a documentary that brought her right up close and personal with these 'wrap around, solvable' characters and situations. Not a chance; everything and everybody is completely fluid - and it's been going on for a long, long time. Very educational documentary.
