Lovely surprise. Ciwt had forgotten a portrait from the Galleria Nazionale di Parma was visiting the U.S. for the first time when she went to the Legion of Honor today. So, with fresh eyes she encountered Schiava Turca and found it remarkable. Just exquisite brushwork and color sense.
