Distance: 1 mile and teach (new) yoga class
Yesterday's SRO harpsichord concert was essentially to introduce and 'road test' a new instrument built by an Oregon builder, painted by a San Francisco artist and with jack built by another skilled keyboard instrument engineer from Oregon.
To see the beautiful instrument that carries so much early music history, to meet the painter, engineer and builder and see the last play his instrument, and, maybe most of all, to participate in the energy of being in a room filled with people deeply fond of and 'in tune' with the harpsichord - all made for a wonderful, uplifting experience all the way around.
