Just after my last posting on Mill Valley, I opened the San Francisco Chronicle website and found that one of today's "Most Read" articles is:
Mill Valley named one of the best small towns in America
The "comments" kind of capture what I was getting at I think. One bare bones one is: These elitist, artsy suburban enclaves aren't really "small towns" in the classic Norman Rockwell sense.
Anyway, I forgot to mention I probably couldn't afford to live in Mill Valley even if I wanted to...
